ECLIPSE GLASSES 101:
- Unfortunately Ramsey County Library only has glasses for patrons who attend the library Eclipse programs.
- Glasses are available for event participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Information about reputable vendors of solar filters and viewers can be found here: https://eclipse.aas.org/resources/solar-filters, opens a new window. This site does list our library as a place you can get the glasses for free.
- Many retailers are sold out of the glasses. Please call ahead to any retailer listed to check availability.
- Amazon was selling glasses, but they have recently issued refunds to their customers because the glasses were not up to NASA standards.

- NASA is doing a livestream of the event. Bear in mind, if 8/21 is cloudy, this will be the only way to view the eclipse.
